Watched the AWA set last week myself. Yesterday I watched the WWF (not WWE) Hardcore DVD from 2001. It was a hell of a lot of fun seeing some of those matches again. I know that sounds weird watching wrestling on Halloween but I watched movies the rest of the night.

It's been a while but I'm pretty sure it was the Macho Man 3 disc set. I've been wanting to get the Mr Perfect dvd, I hear that's really good.

The Rise and Fall of WCW. Wish it would of talked more about the fall of it, because I'm sure it didn't collapse in the 10mins that they gave to cover that part of it.

Strange, you'd think WWE would want to spend a substantial amount of time on their greatest rival's demise.

the shoot was really good, way better then expected. there was a lot of matches also but i'm not a huge hardcore mark.

I'm a hardcore fan, but you're right a lot of them matches are just garbage. I still like the Butcher though. Actually saw him in a DM tournament when I was pretty young. This was like 01 and it wasn't nearly as violent as it's become. Back to Hardcore BJPW, W*ING, FMW, ECW, and IWA Japan are some of the best promotions ever in my opinion, but shit like XPW, and even most CZW isn't very good.

Road Warriors (L.O.D.) documentary...Awesome!

I got endless respect for those hardcore guys but yeah I'm not a huge fan of XPW, CZW or the last year or two of IWA-MS.

WCW World War 3-1997

Actually, I was watching the VHS while transferring it to DVD for a buddy. Some good stuff on there. How I miss those days.
