Long time listener here, I'm actually the one who made the infamous Brokeback Deadpit trailer a while back. Since the horror genre is brokeback dead right now I wanted to ask you a question about wrassssling. Do you think in the legendary match between Mankind and The Rocks "I quit" match from the 90's that they dubbed Mankind when he said I quit. After getting hit in the face with a chair that many times Mankind couldnt possibly form a sentence let alone say I quit.
>:(Hello Deadpit. This is your old buddy hedgie, formerly known as electric leather music. I've been listening to the show on and off since '06. You guys have provided hours and hours of horror goodness. My question is this. What is the song you guys are singing on the 11-18-11 show? "Gonna get wet, spank you with my dick" is that a parody of an 80's Paul Stanley Kiss song? Or is this an original song? Seriously. I think I have heard it but I can't think of what it is. Anyways, great song, and so is the Grim Reaper song you guys did at the beginning of the Halloween episode a couple weeks back.
CK says he feels that The Texas Chainsaw Massacre should have never been a franchise. A lot of other people seem to feel that way about Halloween. The general consensus seems to be that the original John Carpenter film is a classic and all the sequels are crap. I personally think that's unfair. The original is a classic, I'm not denying that, and some of the sequels are bad but I think the majority of them are great in their own right and shouldn't just be automatically clumped together as being a bunch of trash. What are your opinions on this matter?
Speaking of Halloween, do you think Carpenter intentionally sabotaged Halloween II? From everything I can tell, he seemed to try to undermine Rick Rosenthal's directing by putting in gory scenes and deleting character development and so on. Again, this is just rumor but what's your opinion? While I do highly respect Carpenter, I don't think he should have tried to interfere with another director just because he didn't want to direct Halloween II himself. Keep it creepy, guys.

jut wondering how yall think American Horror story is going, i know UB said somthing about liking it, i really loved it till the past couple episodes when the chick that was pregs found out it is the supposed antichrist. I bleive it has fell to shit and the whole rubber man being tate, i feel it has lost its touch. also i beleive after this season people will get tired unless the use the proposed ideal of a new family each episode, whatta yall think.

Great show guys, keep it up. You guys were talking about doing non-horror related commentaries, I suggest Godfather 1 & 2. But if you want to do a horror commentary, I suggest doing 'The Boogens'. On a side note, bring Jessco back for the mailbag, shes just better at it. Happy Ass-Eating guys. Only one thing left to say.....Who the fuck are you & What the fuck do you want???
i just finished last weeks movie memories episode. i have similar memories of 80's horror films that fueled my childhood obsession with the genre. similarly again, my second wave of obsession was sparked by the advent of DVD and the excellent European output of the last decade.
Jesus Christ, all this nostalgia is making me feel old.
thankyou deadpit radio for several years of free entertainment. and thankyou for playing a part in re-igniting my passion for sweet sweet horror. i just purchased the TCM Drunken commentary and i will be more than happy to subscribe to a premium account should you get the concept off the ground.
ps: if the three of you had to form a human centipede, who would be in front, who would be in the middle and who would be "in the ass"?
I've been meaning to ask you guys this for a while: what are your thoughts on Mel Gibson? I know the controversy with him died down a while ago but I figured I'd still ask your opinion on the matter. I know you guys have said that you love his films and that's cool. You don't have to stop liking them. All I want to know is if you think the guy is a crazy, racist asshole. Personally, I think it's plain to see that the guy has got some serious issues and prejudices. Apparently, his father is insane with his religious beliefs so I guess that's one answer to why he is the way he is.
Speaking of crazy people, what do you guys think of the wrestler, the Ultimate Warrior (yeah, I'm asking a wrestling related question). Even though I'm not a fan of wrestling, I find that guy fascinating because of just how insane he is. From what I can tell, he wasn't that good of a wrestler though. I saw somebody review these insane comic books he wrote back in the 90's and if you've ever read those things, they speak volumes for how nutty he is. Just curious. Sorry to be so long-winded. You guys are killer.
Howdy Guys, got a question for yea about Antagonist designs in horror movies, what element or feature in a Horror movie antagonist's design always creeps you out? Example, I still get chills seeing that burnt face of Freddy. Maybe it's because of the contrast of this badly burnt man with a happy grin on , almost as if he's happy to be so charred and ugly. thanks and keep up the great work . P.S thanks for making the new forum members avatar a freddy face..assholes jk much love.
hey guys, hope you both had an awesome christmas! This ones a bit festive season belated, but I was wondering if you guys managed to see 'Saint' yet? Its a christmas slasher from holland, where good ol' Saint Nick is the killer. I thought it was a nice spin on the christmas horror movie and with 'Rare Exports' coming out to dvd as well this year, it was a good festive season for horror fans!
Also how long do you think it will be before the WWE manages to destroy the CM Punk character we have at the moment?
Enjoy and I hope you guys have a fantastic new year!
Among the following directors, (and not all of them are strictly horror directors), what do you think are the best and worst movies from each of them?
John Carpenter David Cronenberg George Romero Tobe Hooper Wes Craven Steven Spielberg (and if you say Jurassic Park is his worst, I'll fucking kill you) James Cameron Sam Raimi Francis Ford Coppola Peter Jackson Alfred Hitchcock
Sorry if that took up a lot of time but I've been meaning to ask you guys that for a while. Catch you later.

bradtheman: Like all things in life, Deadpit Radio's run had to end at some point. Towards the end, Wes, Aaron, and Steve's hearts weren't in it and that it was time to move on. For what it's worth, I like to thank the threesome for inspiring me to do commentaries.

oldhorrorfan: Stuttering Steve Bumblefuck B Plan was worse than Aids on there and was one of the Main reasons the show went to shit so fast..

bradtheman: That and the horror genre was going down the tubes when Aaron and Wes signed off. It still is with the Child's Play remake and I Spit on Your Grave: Deja Vu as examples.

newt138: No mainstream horror was going down the tubes. There was plenty of good mainstream horror. But as fat fuck Wes told many people "Unless we get sent a copy for free I Aint reviewing it."
