Are either of yall watching Face off on SYFY channel? Not bad for a reality show. Last episode I watched had the contestants having to create a horror villain based on a phobia. And the guest judge was Tom Savini. I normally hate reality tv but something about this show has caught my attention.
I've been on a kick lately to seek out obscure horror anthology films. I recently watched two with the same title of "Campfire Tales." The first one was from the early 90s and had Gunnar Hansen playing a small part. The second one was from the late 90s and was easily the better of the two and well-worth the purchase. I was wondering if you guys had any lesser-known horror anthologies to recommend or warn against?
What's up guys. I'm a huge fan of the show. I have 2 questions. First question, do u know when the movie Livid(the guys who directed Inside) will be released in the states? Second question have u seen the movie "I saw the devil"? I know u guys like the vengeance trilogy so you"ll love this movie.
First, is there any cartoon you remember really scaring you or freaking you out as a kid? (Either movie or TV show.) Though we think of cartoons from our childhood being really tame, I think there's a couple that really warped some of us when we saw them. My example would be the bloody death in "Watership Down" or the hell scene from "All Dogs Go to Heaven."
Second, what is your favorite movie that was never made? That is, movies that collapsed or turned out to be just rumors or ran out of money, but that you were really anticipating. I thought of this when I learned that Guillermo del Toro's "Mountains of Madness" wasn't going to be made.

Last week on the show you guys were talking about what movies to do for sequelitis. I wanted to know if you guys ever heard of the infamous Cruel Jaws directed by good ol' Bruno Mattei. It is a pretty damn bad movie but enjoyable at the same time because of it constantly ripping off lines from jaws, stealing storylines from the Jaws novel, and even stealing scenes from Jaws 1-4 and Great WHite. With all that said it is way more enjoyable to watch than Jaws 3 & 4 and i think you guys should check it out.
I have some questions about Lucio Fulci. I've now seen the movies that are considered his classics: Zombie, City of the Living Dead, The Beyond, and The House By the Cemetery. Does he have any more good movies or is that pretty much it?
I have the old bare bones DVD of City of the Living Dead but I'm thinking of replacing it with a Blu-Ray. Which is the one to go for: the Blue Underground edition or the Arrow Video UK edition?
Even though Fulci's movies were often similar to Argento's, I think that the difference between the two is that the violence in Argento's movies, while gruesome, is much more stylized and artistic where as the violence in Fulci's movies is much more visceral and savage. Do you agree? Also, do you think that Opera feels more like a Fulci movie because of the gruesome deaths?
Finally, what do you think about the rumors surrounding Fulci's personality? Do you think he was a sadistic, misogynist of a person or what? Sorry for blabbing on for so long. Stay cool.

Hey guys! I have been a fan of the show for the last 2-3 years. I live in Delaware near Philadelphia. I am really psyched for this weekend's Monster Mania convention. Hopefully, you guys will be able to make an appearance there one day.
I recently placed my order for the new Michael Myers mask from Trick or Treat studios. I was reminded of something that always has me guessing - that is the timeline for the events of Halloween I & II. What time of the evening do you guys think it is when Loomis shoots the shape?
What's up CK and UB. I've only been a fan since last October. I first found out about you guys when I was on YouTube looking up a review for 28 Weeks Later thats when I caught your On The Road video. Since then i listened to our all yours past shows on your website. I'm a huge fan. My question is. Who has the superior Zombie Trilogy? Is it Romero's Orginal Dead Trilogy or is Fullci's trilogy(Beyond,City of Living Dead,Zombie) For me since i was a kid it was always Romero but now since I've gotten older i think its Fulci. With repeat viewings I have a greater appreciation for these movies and they still give me the creeps. My 2nd question. Sucks cocks like no other? Fuck You. No I was laughing my ass off. I feel privileged u sang about me. Keep it Brutal.

Hey guys, hows it going? I've heard a few song pieces on your show sometimes, like going to breaks & stuff, that were rock from the 80s. I was wondering if you guys were fans of that genre of music. If so, what were some of your favorite bands?I still listen to some of those bands from time to time, like Guns N' Roses, Def Leppard, WhiteSnake & Motley Crue.
Anyway, thanks guys, keep up the good work, & happy ass-eating.

I have a couple of questions for you:
-I notice that you haven't been talking much about Scorpion Releasing. The only mention I recall was you saying that they were the same company as Code Red. That's actually not true, Scorpion Releasing is run by Bill's brother and the company is very different from Code Red. They have put out good editions of long unavailable horror films such as Humongous and Final Exam and in the coming months will put out even more including Death Ship and Mortuary with Bill Paxton. Unlike Code Red these obscure titles show up in stores and online on release day with great video transfers. They are quickly becoming my favorite DVD label. Have you guys seen anything from them and what are your thoughts?
-I've been reading about a Wal Mart exclusive DVD 8 pack from Lionsgate that includes rare films such as 976-Evil 2, Ghoulies III: Ghoulies Go to College, Chud II: Bud the Chud, and The Unholy. There are no listings online, but people have put up pics and videos at the horrordvds and dvdtalk forums. Have you guys seen this set and what are your thoughts on the rare movies included?
-One last question. I recently rewatched The Blair Witch Project for the second time. The first time I watched it was 13 years ago and I absolutely hated it. When I watched it again last week I loved it. I've never gone from hating a movie to loving it like a classic before this. Has that ever happened to either of you?
Thanks for all the great shows and keep up the good work.
I recently got a second job typing up police reports. Since you've moved to a bi-monthly schedule I have been scouring iTunes for podcasts that will keep me entertained.
I just wanted to say thank you for going through the effort to make your show as high-quality and listener-friendly as possible. I didn't appreciate how rare it was to find a show that doesn't sound like it's being recorded through a phone, or doesn't have 6 or 7 people talking over each other, or doesn't use obnoxious or overly loud audio clips between segments. You're show has a very professional feel about it, yet you still don't have to live in fear of displeasing any producer, sponsor, or future guest.
I know that you guys are busy a lot, but I hope that you keep the show going forever, and that you keep it real as always. The best projects like this come from a labor of love, and I'm glad you guys still give a shit.

bradtheman: Like all things in life, Deadpit Radio's run had to end at some point. Towards the end, Wes, Aaron, and Steve's hearts weren't in it and that it was time to move on. For what it's worth, I like to thank the threesome for inspiring me to do commentaries.

oldhorrorfan: Stuttering Steve Bumblefuck B Plan was worse than Aids on there and was one of the Main reasons the show went to shit so fast..

bradtheman: That and the horror genre was going down the tubes when Aaron and Wes signed off. It still is with the Child's Play remake and I Spit on Your Grave: Deja Vu as examples.

newt138: No mainstream horror was going down the tubes. There was plenty of good mainstream horror. But as fat fuck Wes told many people "Unless we get sent a copy for free I Aint reviewing it."

bradtheman: The 8th anniversary of my very first audio commentary is coming up. It was for Psycho IV: The Beginning. I like to thank Wes and Aaron for inspiring me to do some on my own.
