The Crystal Lake to Manhattan box set might be of interest to completists because it includes commentaries that aren't on the deluxe edition DVDs. The bonus disc is just going to be ported over and be the bonus disc on the new Blu-ray set, but it hasn't been announced if these features will: -Part 3 commentary with Larry Zerner, Paul Kratka, Richard Brooker and Dana Kimmell that is moderated by Peter Bracke. -Part 6 commentary by Tom McLoughlin -Part 7 commentary by Kane Hodder and John Carl Buechler -Part 8 commentary by Rob Hedden
The part 6-8 participants were involved with new commentaries on the deluxe editions, so if they aren't carried over it's not a big loss. But the part 3 commentary didn't appear on the deluxe DVD or the Blu-ray releases. It's very entertaining and if WB just puts the old Blu-ray disc in the box set then this track will be the reason to hold onto this DVD box set.

Great show guys love the plan B Steve good job man, miss Uncle Bill but still good show CK an just to let ya know Ck ive ordered a few of your commentaries the drunkin ones are classic man you need to involve the plan B with you guys on one of those think it would be awesome. Just got the Beyond movie which i dont think I have ever seen so might have to download the cometary while i check the movie out.
I remember my VHS rentals. There were two shops in town. One next to the local pharmacy and the other near the high school. The one next to the high school had better selection. It was a small shop and every single available space had movies (and posters). Both rentals had tokens, you grabbed a token with the title's name and ID number to rent. I so abused that.
Rented lots of films with T&A that I couldn't get otherwise.
What I remember was the fabled adult section, never got to sneak inside, too chicken shit to do that. But I do remember it having beaded curtains, you knew right away when someone was inside by the noise of the clacking beads.
Well, I do remember "Federated" had a three ring binder with the VHS box covers for X rated flicks. A black binder.

Glad to hear the show continuing and really enjoying Steve as co-host, hope to hear some more Uncle Bill eps soon though. That said, as much as I'm diggin' Steve, I'll never know how he could have confused a VHS box set and a DVD box set haha.

bradtheman: Like all things in life, Deadpit Radio's run had to end at some point. Towards the end, Wes, Aaron, and Steve's hearts weren't in it and that it was time to move on. For what it's worth, I like to thank the threesome for inspiring me to do commentaries.

bradtheman: That and the horror genre was going down the tubes when Aaron and Wes signed off. It still is with the Child's Play remake and I Spit on Your Grave: Deja Vu as examples.

newt138: No mainstream horror was going down the tubes. There was plenty of good mainstream horror. But as fat fuck Wes told many people "Unless we get sent a copy for free I Aint reviewing it."

bradtheman: The 8th anniversary of my very first audio commentary is coming up. It was for Psycho IV: The Beginning. I like to thank Wes and Aaron for inspiring me to do some on my own.
